International Human Rights Reporting Obligations
The Training Package on Pakistan’s International Human Rights Obligations aims to achieve the following objectives:
- Bridge substantive and procedural knowledge-gaps with respect to Pakistan’s international human rights reporting obligations
- Create a greater understanding of where Pakistan features within the international human rights system and how Pakistan’s international human rights commitments shape it legislative and policy frameworks.
The Training Modules provide sequentially presented instructional units designed to support participants’ absorption of substantive and procedural information on Pakistan’s international human rights commitments and reporting obligations. Each module forms a discrete element of a broader thematic area. The modules provide information, concepts and reference to the Pakistani context that enables target trainees and instructors to emerge from the training with not just information but a keen appreciation for its application within both Pakistan and the international human rights system.
