This project was sponsored by the European Union and Sörmland Regional Council. The latter is a politically governed body which represents the nine municipalities in the county.
In addition to working on the region’s infrastructure and economic development, the Council is responsible for regional development issues.
In partnership with the European Union, the Sörmland Regional required the creation of cloud-based surveys.
Through the surveys, the Council wished to gain insight into current and future economic and skills development. As a result, it would improve policy decision making to safeguard the interests of the county and its industries.
THE RESPONSE
After careful analysis and research
on the requirements of the project,
DPL created three surveys
Bio-Based Industries in Sörmland
The purpose of this survey is to better understand the current position of companies within this industry while assessing how technological development can drive change and the need for new skills.
